Barr. Emmanuel Akpan

Born in 1975, Emmanuel O. Akpan hails from Utu Abak in Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State where he also had his primary education and the Senior School Certificate education. He studied for his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree in the University of Uyo and graduated with a second class (upper division). He won the Vice-Chancellor’s award as the best graduating student of the 2001/2022 graduating class. He had the vocational aspect of legal education at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, graduated, again, with second class (upper division) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005. He also holds the Master of Laws (LL.M) degree of the University of Uyo, with a specialty in the Law of Intellectual Property.
Emmanuel is into the teaching and practice of law. At the University of Uyo and the National Open University, he has taught several courses including the Law of Intellectual Property, Company Law, Law of Contract, Civil Procedure, amongst others.

His practice experience spans several years and divergent areas of law. He was, for many years, the Head of Practice in Enoidem & Associates, Uyo, a firm of legal practitioners, arbitrators and consultants, where he coordinated several contested election/political, corporate, land, tax, criminal, etc. litigations as well as general administration of the firm.
Emmanuel also brings to Agrivision a rich experience garnered from involvement in corporate governance having also, at various times, served either as legal adviser, secretary or member of the boards of some corporate bodies and non-governmental organisations such as El-Coolex Limited, H.J. Oil Nigeria Limited, Anema Ventures Limited, Wings of Heaven Nigeria Limited, Blite Nigeria Limited, and Brilliant Touch Consulting Limited, amongst others.
